According to GotQuestions.org States that :
Why is it important to be saved for real?
Being saved is a fundamental aspect of the Christian faith, and it is crucial for believers to understand the significance of this gift. Salvation is not just a religious concept but a personal and powerful reality that changes one's life. It brings redemption from sin and its consequences, eternal life, and restoration of the relationship with God. Salvation is a gift from God that can be received through faith in Jesus Christ, and it is essential for believers to live a fulfilling Christian life after being saved.
And I have to say I agree with this! If you gonna be saved for real this year, Sis, you can't act like Jesus and Judas at the same time, you have to pick what side you want to be on? Because being saved means that you can't be praying for folks and be stabbing them in the back at the same time! What view, what example does that give them of not only you. But what view of God did you leave them with? That God is finicky and not to be trusted? That He is a back stabber? That He is as ruthless as you are portraying Him to be in this moment! 1 John 4:8 says and tells us that God is Love. So, if we are wanting to be more like Him, we have to be an example of that very characteristic.
LOVE
We can't be hot and cold at the same time; we must choose a side! We cannot claim that we are saved and in the same moment plotting someone's demise, praying that they fail and then turn around and have dinner with them too! I know, I know I get it! People have hurt you beyond measure. they have betrayed you, lied to your face and took your kindness for weakness, but here is the thing! God forgives them to, they need forgiveness too and if we don't forgive, guess what we don't get to obtain? -
Forgiveness!
Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves. cIf your brother sins 3against you, drebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
Ephesians 4:32 - Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Mark 11:25 - And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”
1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Matthew 18:21-22 - Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.
and lastly - Matthew 6:12 - And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
the Truth hurts but one thing is clear, we have to give in order to get. There is apart of you that has to sacrifice, and I mean really sacrifice if you want to get to the other side. I know that this is one of the hardest things to do when were stuck in bitterness and angst against a person for what they did for us. But let God Repay, Let God be God and your enemies be scattered. But don't you do the scattering ya hear!
I hope and pray that this helped you today in your venture and journey to complete freedom from pain in your heart!
